Nearing the end of my mortgage

Hi all,

I will have paid off my mortgage in September and will have the option to pay down to £1 and leave the morg active giving me the option to reborrow quickly if I wanted to in the future. Not sure what the advantages would be in leaving it open against closing it completly. Any thoughts be great, dont forget to vote in my poll...

So, in your opinion would I be better doing this or completly ending the morg?

Thanks

I'm pretty sure I've read that it's all electronic these days and there is no point in the 'all but a pound' approach anymore, but check!!
