When I placed my EW bets I didn't request certain odds though. I placed my EW bets through the racingquickbet option on the blue tool bar. No odds were displayed. I'm a bit worried that they're still showing as unmatched and especially as someone has said on this thread that you can't place a EW bet on the Grand National. My EW bets has been taken from my account balance. Has anyone else had any problem? Would you cancel the bets and start again?

You will have selected SP odds "Betfair Starting Prices are the best odds available at the start of the event." so they won't be matched till the start.

Best thing to do to get matched at the odds available now is to cancel that and put have on the win and half on the place

    The Dude is confused.

I've made 5 lots of £2.50 win bets and 5 lots of £2.50 placed bets (so traditional each-way bet I hope  ).

I can see my bets in my account when I select 'Matched Bets'.

I can also see in my account my £25 deposit and also £25 in my 'UK wallet'.

Have I placed the bets correctly??

Can I just sit back now and wait for the race??

If you click 'My Account' (top left), you should see an 'Exposed' amount in red - this is the amount that you have bet, so should be £25 in red.

totally hacked off (my own fault tho'...)I paid with bank transfer last night and expected it to be the fastest way to do it - still not in today and after looking around Betfair further it appears it could take up to 3 days - meaning I miss the National bet

Phoned my bank and they said it was too late to cancel .. to make it worse (as I always do) it was about all i have to pay with. Will just have to wait til it shows in account then withdraw it anyhow ....:confused::mad::confused::mad:

me again - just rang them back as money was being transferred from my Natwest to their Natwest and so assumed it should be instant. They agreed, but apparently as i have only just set up the new payee online, can take up to 3 days ... should have phoned them up to do it instead. darn

I went through quidco this morning and signed up using the CT code. I deposited and bet the £25 - but no sign of my money being re-credited or quidco tracking.

It can take a while for quidco to track - you can always contact quidco after 14days i think for them to chase it up
Money will be recredited within 24hrs of the race finishing
