Can U Reclaim Bank Charges if Over Drawn?

Hi
im new here, i have just read the 'section' on MS Expert about 'claiming back bank charges if your still over drawn with the bank'
but i still cant make out wether or not it CAN be done if your over drawn,
or wether they are saying you need to ,somehow, make up the amount your over drawn by BEFORE you try to claim back the charges?
yes , im a woman LOL - please can any nice brainy men (or ladies !) explain or advise me ?

I claimed mine back whilst overdrawn and they didn't make me pay the overdraft off with the proceeds either - that was with NatWest.

Yes I did but I would suggest having a parachute account in case they want to close your account. Very common with Nationwide & Coop in case you're with them.0

Funny you mention those, Daisy as my original account was Nationwide and my parachute was the Co-op! Can you guess what happened next?!
Still, managed to get £250 via the FOS for the account closure by Nationwide, while the Co-Op just removed my ability to use the account for direct debits, including taxes and even my mortgage, so they effectively rendered it useless without closing it.
Absolutely, claim while overdrawn - there's no better time.Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -

I did, go for it.unsecured Debts at [strike]August 2007 £79,984[/strike] September £79,579 [STRIKE]Snowballing date July 2013[/STRIKE].
May 2009, £76,772 unsecured debts
DMP started Dec 2008, End date at start 2133!0
