It is my daughters birthday next weekend and she is keen to go to a Toby carvery. If anyone has a spare voucher I would be very grateful.

To be honest the last time I had a voucher it was no use as most times the cavery is £5.00 anyway and the voucher is only valid on certain times. So every time I went in the cavery was a fiver anyway! Why dont you phone your local tobey and ask if there is any £5.00 caverys on a sunday .I know during the week it is only £5.00 till 6.30 but anyway it is always good value !!! Have a good time.( The brewers fayre has a discount voucher on te web site for four but again I think there vouchers are no good for sunday but you could check.)

do u think i could get away with asking for an extra plate for my just turned 3 year old to share mine or will i have to pay for a child's meal like i did last time that will be 99% wasted?

  • I know what you mean...took my five year old to pizza hut last week and had the lunch time buffet...ordered two free top up glasses of coke for myself and a friend who also had her 5 yr old with her, was asked if the children would be having any....thinking she meant more cokes i told her no....realised she mustve meant food as she came back with the invoice for just the two adults...just as well as they were two engrosed in their scooby doo packs to eat anything...think mine ate a couple of cucumber slices and a forced bite of a pizza and that was it and my friends daughter must've had 3-4 cherry tomatoes and just one bite of a pizza. it must say something about pizza huts pizza...

if i was you i would just go ahead and ask for the plate and be upfront if they say what its for...if its a problem then apologise and pay but say you never had a problem with this at toby restaurants before.
