CCJ/ Loan payment demand from Court- part payment accepted? help please

Hi

Last week I left a post on here re the refusal from the Court to accept my offer to pay the loan part of my mortgage (£55k mortgage, £10k loan). I had defauled on payments etc etc (due to redundancy) and ended up in a right mess! Have been in full time employment now since July 2007.

anyway, they rejected my offer and want the money paying back forthwith. Following the advice on here I wrote to the bank upping my offer and explianing that I couldnt pay the £10k. I have not heard from them, but it did day I had 16 days to respond. I also included a statement of affairs and wait to hear back from them re redetermination.

What I'm wondering is I'm going to go to my parents tonight, confess all, and hope that they can lend me some money. Lets say for example they can ledn me £3k (i will obviously pay them back!) will the Court accept this as a "part payment" and then we can liaise re paying off the outstanding amount which would be £7k?

I was thinking that I could pay £110 a month as well as the mortgage and this would mean it is paid off in 5 years.

My mortgage is with Northern Rock :(
Dealing with debt by selling property: Mortgage- £55k, Loan on top of mortgage (northern rock goddamnit!) £10,800, Alliance and Leicester loan- £1,800, Cahoot loan- £1,300, Aim to be house-less and debt free by December 2008! Wish me luck!

Hi Louise - I'm really sorry to read your post - I'm not sure that I can offer any advice, other than to suggest that you talk to one of the Debt Counselling Charities, as NO situation is ever totally hopeless.
I wish you luck, and am bumping your thread back to the top, to see if anyone can offer you some advice.
I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
