This morning I had to face my fear and have the biggest tooth in my head pulled out at the dentist, with only local anesthetic and no heavy duty valium :eek::eek:
I was soooo scared but its gone and I am now examining the tooth as I brought it home with me....does the tooth fairy still come when your 27?
Anyway Im feeling happy to have faced my fear and needed to share!!!

know how you feel Im booked in for possible extraction on Friday after a nasty abscess. Last Friday at height of abscess was begging him to pull it now the pain has gone Im petrified and I've been through labour - can honestly say the dentist strikes more fear into me than childbirth and toothache hurts more than it too_pale_ _pale_ _pale_0

I know EXACTLY how you feel, I had a terrible abscess and thats why I just had it out, I was in soooo much pain and like you was begging at the time, but was not so sure about going this morning when the abscess had gone.
Im terrified of dentists so please believe me when I say you will be ok, its not as bad as you think it may be.
Thanks everyone for your support. xxx
