Occupiers Consent form - advice please.

Hello,
Wonder if anyone has any experience or advice as regards Occupiers Consent forms.
I’m currently setting up a re-mortgage with the One Account. It’s all going well with one outstanding issue.
I intend to set up the account in my name only so my partner has been sent an Occupiers Consent form. What I’m unsure of is what happens if something happens to me and I'm not around to pay the mortgage? Should I cover this eventuality via a Will (which I currently don’t have)? I don’t have a Life Insurance policy as I have a company scheme which pays out a decent amount if the worst should happen (a lot more than the current mortgage left which is around 40k). So essentially should I make sure that she gets the house via a Will of should we go for a joint mortgage (which I wanted to avoid as she is less good with money than me ;o). We aren’t currently married, not sure if that makes a difference.
Thanks in advance folks
