Less than a Grand to go

Hello peeps,

As of today my outstanding debt is £800. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and I'm sprinting towards it.

I'm nearly there (as the actress said to the bishop) and want to say to those who are still chipping away at the debt to keep their chin up and keep going forward. It can be dis-heartening at times but we'll all get there in the end.

Onwards, ever onwards.

Cheers,
FatJock

Cue waves breaking on the shore followed by a mill chimney collapsing.

    Congrats by the way.

    Cheers,

My total debt was about 28k and will take the best part of 5 years to completely clear.

This last £800 relates to a student loan I took out in Oct 1995 so in total it'll take almost 13 years to get into debt, wallow in it for several years, face the problems, tackle them and get out of debt.

FatJock's tip for April - Smile, even though it can be hard. Because you know one day the debt will be gone.

    Good Luck
