    hi all, in from work.

Think I'm getting a cold. All around my eye socket was sore last night as if it was bruised. Woke in the night and took a sudafed in case it was sinuses. It has spread down my cheek, a bit into my ear and the glands in my neck are up on that side :( I've also now got a headache above my eye so I've taken a sachet of the all in one stuff and hopefully that will kill it off.

It's the information session today to try to get a place on the adult teaching course so I'll be going back to work for 4.30. From what I've picked up, there are individual interviews and then I'll get a letter either offering me a place or not. It sounds as if there are only 3 people going, and there is only 1 person confirmed on the course, so it might noteven run if a few more people don't enrol which would be a shame.

Other than that, it's a lovely day. Regretted wearing a jumper to work as it was warm in the offices.

    Spring has sprung!

There is someone who works at the offices who lives at the end of my road and he was telling me today that years ago there was a brothel set up by 2 women who rented one of the houses 3 doors away from him. He said he always wondered why there were loads of cars outside his house at all hours until 2 pensioners knocked on his door one day and said 'you do know what goes on there, don't you?' apparently he said - 'no, but I wouldn't mind knowing the rates'!!!!

I don't think it was an April Fools - this is an incredibly quiet road but I guess anything could go on behind the nets of respectable suburbia!

He also told me about the guy also from the next road I see driving a big Merc with the plate which starts ROD. He said he is the guy who tested Viagra!!!! :D :rotfl:

Now I am DEFINITEY wondering if I've been tricked!!!
