Landlord gave me my deposit back 3 months ago - now he wants to claim some back?!

I also agree with everyone else. You don't owe him a penny, he's just trying to get money out of you. Even if he did let you out of the property early. if something was wrong or he hadn't agreed then he wouldn't have given you the deposit back. Just ignore him. and if he wants to take you to court, just let him, he ll have no legs to stand on. Also did you go through an agency? If so I would report him !!!!0 -

I haven't read the board, but I am sure it is full of people with the expertise to give you the correct answer. I'm sure they will agree with us, but they will probably back it up with the relevant rules and regulations that you can quote back to your ex landlord.0 -
