Mortgage Repayment Fee - Bradford & Bingley

Has anyone managed to claim back from Bradford and Bingley ?
My parents completed their mortgage in 2006 and were charged £175.00. Unfortunately I can't find the orginal paperwork but I know they had a 25 year mortgage with them taken out in in 1979 ish.
Bradford & Bingley are asking you to write to them so I started using the template but I can't put the original amount as I don't know this.
Anyone else been in the same boat ?
Thanks

You shouldn't need all the details for them to work it out for you. As long as they have your name, DOB, address which was mortgaged with them they should be able to locate it. Obviously, any other information you could give would be useful, but don't not put in a claim because of it.
I did the same with the Abbey for my parents, and the same with mine (although I had my details). My parents didn't know their mortgage number or details, but they still got their MEAF back.
Send off as much as you can.
KiKi' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0 -
