Yes it let me update one card but not the others. Wonder if its worth trying other machines?

i had to cancel a card before and my points were added on to my new card - but, to make sure email them first and explain - they didnt even need the card number as your name and address are enough to bring up your points....

as for the points - i went in town today and all the machines in boots were down - so, no joy......not fair

wonder why all the machines are down!! I expect they haven't had so much activity since they were first introduced!!!!!!!!

machine wasn't working in our local either :rolleyes: they are so on and off, its pot luck if you find one that does work somewhere ... wish they would get them sorted :rolleyes:

One machine in my branch wouldn't let me update my details, so I tried the other one. I got an offer of entry into a competition for a family holiday for updating my details.

Ring them to cancel it, or someone can spend your points. They can also check no one has spent any yet, and order you a new one.

Mine didn't arrive after 6 weeks (was told it would only take 3) and found it hadn't even been ordered! Still, they added 700 points as an apology so all's well that end well. That's if it ever does turn up!

My local one hadn't been working for 3months and i had about 5000 points to collect from those cheap camera's. After complaining they told me there was 1 bloke covering the whole West Midlands, so when it ran out of paper they had to wait for the next scheduled visit because nobody could open it.......

Next time i went in, it was working fine. I asked the checkout girl if they'd had a visit...she grimaced and said they'd been in the staff room talking about the amount of complaints from customer's because they couldn't get into the machine to reset it, when some girl from the perfume counter had piped up :
"Oh....I've got a key for that machine..I didn't know who should have it so i've been keeping it in my till......."

Tried this yesterday in Huddersfield and all I got was entry into a competition.
But - spend £5 and you get a voucher for £5 off various skin care products so it was not entirely a wasted visit.
