itching can be a sign of liver problems, as someone has already suggested, see your GP.0

I developed unbearably itchy legs a few years ago, they were really painful and I scratched so much I broke the skin! Awful. My doctor prescribed some steroid cream and advised me to use Oilatum in the shower (it's a shower gel with petroleum in), and after a few weeks of using them both the itchiness went away and has never come back!0

Use E45 Cream as soon as you come out of the bath or shower also vist your doctor as for a blood test with a full blood count, platlet count and also for lupus. My mum had the same symptoms as you it turned out that she had a low platelet count and had to go for blood tests every 3 months but it can easily be solved by taking iron tablets as she wasn't so keen on just the iron tablets alone she opted for multi vitamin tablets which has now brought her platelets and blood count back up so she has been signed off.
Hope this helps if you have any more questions drop me a line

When I was pregnant with one of my kids, i had same sort of thing. Anyway Dandelion root tablets from holland and barrett and flax seed oil capsules soon got rid of it. If u look up PUPPS on internet it may help. It drove me mad!0

I suffer from Urticaria (hives) for weeks at a time. I was advised to drink aloe vera juice each day. It certainly helped me (its an awful taste, best mixed with a juice)0
