Template Letter anyone?

Hey everyone!
I know there are some wiz kids at writing template letters on here..
I'm a bit stuck, I have contacted a solicitors about the a dispute over a credit agreement 4 years ago that rared it's ugly head, and am expecting a call back on friday, in the mean time, I dont want godebt to think we're ignoring their letters and then send us ccj papers etc.. what can I write to them to bide some time?
Also how can I find out if i'm eligable for legal aid?
Any pointers would be appreciated.

Hi, yes done that and got a very quick reply with the copy of the agreement. now need an letter to stall them whilst i'm in discussions with the solicitors, any ideas?

What is your dispute, I take it it is a car credit agreement.
If it all seems to comply and you don't dispute the debt what are you actually contesting.
Not being nosey but someone might have some insight.
Ok maybe being a teeny bit nosey but others may benefit from your situation too.0 -
I do dispute the debt. it's a long story, mis-selling, incorrect details, voluntary terminaton etc...
I just need a generic letter to send.
