I have ordered my credit file an have an unknown loan with "Finance House" but no address other than default and £5000 limit.

How do I find out who this was with??!! Thanks people!

"Finance House" ?

There are quite a few possibilities for that, but these to seem the likeliest.

Do they look familiar? Otherwise it could be a debt buyer?

The best bet would be to contact the Credit Reference Agency. They should have contact details for the creditor, because they need these to query entries with the people who have placed the records in case of a dispute. And if this is something you don't recognise, then you should dispute it.
