we can get them for £2.70 from the students union here.. I'm sure most unis do them cheap if anyone in interested in them that's a student.. helpful if you're gonna be walking between student residences at the middle of the night.. I never feel safe walking between here and my boyfriends.. even at 6pm :S..0

Hi there rubberducky
Have just returned from Tesco , where they have similar personal panic alarms .
They are silver and heart shaped ? with a wrist strap that you pull out to activate , they only cost £2 £4 each so definately worth a try - although not too sure how loud they are.
Ps the one from "Nile" sounds really quite good .
It is really heartening when you read people giving out such great advice and offering stuff for free- what a great site
