BT Disconnection charge

My own experience with BT has been very good. I phoned them to check if a line was available at my house as I did not want to have to pay to get one installed. The woman did a check for me and told me I did have a line but there was a problem in the house. Within 45 mins an engineer was at my house and installed a new socket in a more convenient place. There was a problem with the company I transferred from as they would not release my phone number until a certain date, in this time i could not make or receive calls for a week. BT transferred all calls made to my home phone number to my mobile. All this was done for FREE.0
