An "eBay facilitator" that sells items for you

www.Auctioning4u.co.uk
For anyone too lazy - or disorganised - to sell their unwanted goods online, this site will be a godsend. An "eBay facilitator" that sells items on the vendor's behalf and completes all the admin (photos, postage) for a 30 per cent commission. The really idle can pay extra to have their items picked up direct.

I don`t think this has been posted before. I have done a quick search and nothing was found, so I hope that you all enjoy this site. It sells stuff for you on ebay and does not take money if the item does not sell. It does all the work for you. How great is that?

This site states that they pay all the ebay fees.
  1. Bring small items to us or have them collected. Large items we'll photograph at your place and have them collected after the ending of the auction.
  2. We do the rest - evaluation, photography, description, listing the items on eBay, answering bidders questions, paying all eBay fees, collecting payment, packaging, shipping and customer service.
  3. You receive payment - by cheque or bank transfer

Nice idea but with ebay already taking 5-15% plus insertion fees, gallery fees, Paypal fees etc. add on this 30% and you'd hardly make anything!

they pay them - ie they organise the physical payment - but does not mean you actually don't have to pay for them .... confusing innit?
ie the amount is reduced from the money you get and not included in the 30% - but you don;t have to worry about making the payment yourself (like the solicitor paying some stuff for your house purchase, and then they bill you for this plus their own fee)

    something to check i guess

They would have a high feedback rating and score, so they probably attract higher bids than someone who might say have only five items to list a year because of their perceived reliability.

This is particularly important since they seem to be targetting the high value and collectables market.
