Organic Fruit Veg And Meat In Liverpool

DUE TO HEALTH CONCERNS AND AFTER THAT DISPATCHES PROGRAM WE ARE LOOKING TO PURCHASE ORGANIC FROM NOW ON ....BUT THE COST IS SO MUCH MORE.
I HAVE HEARD THERE ARE LOCAL FARMERS THAT SELL THIS BUT NEED TO KNOW WHERE THESE ARE BASED AND THE COST

I LIVE IN LIVERPOOL SO ANYWHERE LOCAL WOULD BE GREAT (WITHIN 10-15 MILES~)

We went to Yew Tree Farm in Halewood last weekend. Bought a large chicken (home produced) for £7.50, two HUGE pork chops were £1.65 each. Fruit and veg was usual price i.e. same as greengrocer.

They had all types of meat fresh and frozen and a board saying where each meat was from, all local farms in tarbock, leigh etc.

We've got a little girl and the farm owner showed is the baby turkeys, ducks, goats etc which made her day.

There is an organic farm on the Wirral, Church Farm Thurstaton. They operate an organic box scheme as well as PYO. They have a lavender maze at the moment also.
