i also have a question, i have a temporary card (ive had it for ages) does anyone know how i can request to get an actual card?? i thought they sent it out automatically, it says they do but nothing.

You need to phone up Tesco clubcard to register it, maybe you've never registered your name & details to tally with the card? If you have already done this then you just need to wait 3 or 4 weeks for your plastic card to arrive. Chase it up if you've waited longer.

Or you can register it online on the Tesco website.

Either way, make sure that you say 'yes' to the marketing questions they ask (do you want to receive extra offers from Tesco, etc.). Then you should start getting till-spits with bonus points offers when you go instore (search for my thread on till-spits for more info, they churn out every fortnight if your card is till-spit-active).

Oh, finally then join all the Tesco clubs, e.g. wine, baby, healthy living, clothing fashion file. They will send you nice extra points mailings and money off vouchers every so often, hopefully.

Then you just follow everyone's tips for getting lots and lots of points (search the forums for 'Tesco clubcard' or 'Tesco points' for threads).

Eventually you may get so good at points collecting that you will be able to use your points to buy a car or go on holiday abroad.:cool:

Set aside an hour to search & read info already on the site, there is loads of info on here. Search for a couple of keywords, no more or you won't get good results (Tesco clubcard, or Tesco points, or shopping loyalty, would all be a start). Search the 'forums' then separately search 'the site', using the green search button (top right above).
