Hi all
Sorry if this is already posted but today when i went to my local Argos Mill Lane , Solihull seen Xbox 360 HD DVD player @ £34.99 reduced from £119.99 i think. Thought it was a good bragin if you got Xbox.

problem is i expect microsoft will soon be selling blue ray dvd add ons for the 360 soon. hd is going the way of betamax and laser disc unfortunatley so you would probably be better buying an external hd and streaming hd content to your tv that way.0

Well it was a decent product but the fact Blue ray was in the Ps3 for free and saveing u half the price if u were gonna buy a ps2 + A blueray thing but ither way Blueray and hdd is to !!!!ing expencive for a 12 yearold to by movies i prefer downloading them or going tescos and buying a few dvds for 2-5£ eac0

As been said, HD DVD has lost the high definition war & as such is no longer being produced. Future films will only be available on blu ray. MS have said that they won't be doing a blu ray add-on for the x-box as they're going the download route instead......
There is loads of HD DVD films out there to watch & they're going cheap atm but if you want to watch new releases then give it a miss.......What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about !!!0 -

futureew releases will not only be available on blu-ray they will be available on standard dvd as well for a long time to come,just before everyone start lobing the dvd player out the window and heads down to the sony centre for a blu ray player or a george foreman grill look a like0 -

Sorry, i thought it was obvious i was talking about future 'high definition' discs as the thread title states HD DVD player.........What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about !!!0
