Just wondering if any one of us on here is actually happy in our relationships?
Why do we put up with all these things?
i am happy overall i know where i stand etc etc and i would never be without him but its the future thats standing between us a bit now and i'm scared we will grow apart and realise we dont need each other anymore or just be together out of habit

i may not be moving back with dh when he is posted.
to cut a long heart to heart short, we both need to consentrate on what we want to do 100% without the army getting in the way dh can get on with his stuff ditto me too it means i have lack of support, back up for dan though.

moneywise i would have to have a smaller 'budget' he would have to split his wages with me having x amount him having the rest but hopefully he will still be careful and we will always have 'family' money as long as he don't take the p completely.

i'm a bit in turmoil with it really as it makes total sense in my head but it will break my heart after 3 years of seeing him everyday to not even seeing him every weekend in my heart its making me cry.

ta hun i'm being a bit daft really as its as though we are splitting up or something but all we are trying to do is make sure i am educated and working when he leaves the army. having quality time together rather than getting in each others way

Hi everybody! This losing an hour has really thrown me today! Can't believe it's past 1pm already, when 'in old money' it's still only just past midday! I know it's great that the nights are lighter now, but I'm sure there could be a better way!

ANyway, not doing a lot today. DH is cooking lunch (he's very domesticated!) and we're also doing a lyrics quiz - 207 lyrics from songs from the 90's and so many of them are bugging me! We're trying not to resort to google just yet, but it might come to it!

Keren and Jinky - Sorry to hear of trials and tribulations with OHs, hope it works out OK for you both. Great idea monkey about guinea pigs! We live in rented accomodation and so currently can't have a cat or dog (although I will try and work on that at our next inspection!), but we would be allowed rabbits or guinea pigs (as they would be outdoors - or so the agency think!), so that might be a route to go down!

Hi to everybody else and all those who follow!

    Keren,
Each day you are growing stronger...one day you'll be able to tell OH to go away. For good.

    oh Jacs,

he is due to go to afgan for 7 months anyway so i might as well stay where i'm happy.
we are used to long seperations but it seems worse when hes just over an hour up the road leading a 'single' life i think i have just hit the nail on the head i'm jealous even though it makes sense.

i on the otherhand will be at college 13 hrs a week at least 13 hrs study and juggling the kids/childcare probs and having to work/volunteer for x amount of hours a week and have time to sh*t:rotfl:

i dunno i need to cheer up i think!
