Linda McCartney Pies/Lasagne BOGOF

Options
Hello,

In Sainsbury's they have the frozen Linda McCartney Country Pies and also Lasagne on BOGOF. The pies are normally 4 for £1.99, so you get 8!!

Sorry not sure how long the offer is on for, as it doesn't clearly say on the shelf labels (unlike in Tesco's!)

Many thanks, we buy a lot of L. McC. pies. A pity the recipe has changed though- they used to taste much nicer and were bigger (deeper)- anyone else noticed this?

Excellent - the lasagnes are the best I've ever tasted, meat or meatfree.

Pies are good for an easy dinner... I've been trying to avoid them though, too much fat! Oh well, cheap vs healthy - you know what's gonna win...

I'm vegetarian and find they have a strange taste, I find the best ones are the Quorn & Mushroom, they have a really creamy taste, unfortunately only Tesco seem to stock them and we dont have one locally.

Sainnsburys vegetable pies have an awful onion taste, truly horrible.

Yes, they have changed hands, in 2006 I think.

Was made by Heinz, now IIRC it is Nestles

omg! Didn't know they were made by Nestle- have been boycotting their products ever since I found out about them pushing baby milk in the third world. I think maybe Linda would have something to say about all this if she was still alive.
