Switch Nationwide from Residential to Buy to Let

Does anyone have experience with how easy/difficukt it is to get a consent to let with Nationwide?

    Certainly used to be easy enough if you'd not had any payment problems.

    How things have changed in the days of the "credit crunch" I couldn't say.

    A couple of weeks ago Nationwide were making noises about a surchage of 1.5% on top of your pay rate if consent to let was granted. Might be worth checking this out with them.

    It will be the easiest thing in the World, just search for all the posts re the increase of 1.5% on your mortgage rate they are slapping on and it will be like 'money for old rope' for them :mad:
