Nationwide raises mortgage rates - r others likely to follow?

That's about it really - we are remortgaging and were going to go with N/W but now are looking elsewhere how quick do we need to be?

Rates are changing by the hour literally. C&G pullled their rates with just 10 mins notice the otherday. No telling at the moment. Many are raising rates just to reduce the amount of business they write.

Once you've found a rate you're happy with, snap it up. As has been said above, rates are changing all the time, often lenders will give just a day's notice (as happened with NW fixed and C&G trackers this week).
Plenty of clients spend a lot of time 'shopping around' or thinking about it, etc., only to find they've then lost the deal they were interested in.

The BOE may be dropping rates but lenders will not, and as others have said find the deal you want and book the funds.
