vision2learn free courses

I've heard about these courses, and thinking about doing at least one, but are they any good?

Are they free?

Can you really do them just on the internet?

I've got the link already, so it's just feedback from someone who's used them please.

If anyone else wants a look it's:

P.S. Hope this is the right place to ask this :o

I was interested in doing a course, I applied but was refused as I live in Scotland and it is for people living in England only

I have done one and about to start another in the next few days.

Yes they are free. The only thing to be aware of is that you might not be able to do the course if there are no colleges near you. I will have to go 25 miles to sit my exam. As that is my nearest college.

You do most of the study on-line but for most you will have to sit an exam at the very end. Depending on the level depends on the lenght of time. About 30 mins for Level 1 multiple choice. About an hour for level 2 an a 3 hour full blown with write eassy type exam for level 3

You also need to make sure you login at least once a week. As my husband had this problem. He forget to login for a couple of weeks due to one thing and another and he was unable to finish the course as they removed all the items from his login. And never sorted the problem out for him.

We are both about to start a health and safety course.

Also it took ages to get my certifcate. I took the exam in november and did not get the certifcate until April.

Overall it is good and it is free. And looks good on your cv.

Most of all enjoy the course.

    Yours

I have been looking at this site myself to do a course & was wondering what the process is?. Do you apply for a course online and have to go to College first to enrol & then you do the course at home? or Can you apply online and do the course straight away on your PC without having to go to a College etc..?.
