Good afternoon lovely DFWs Now for anyone looking in, please feel free to join - the more the merrier! Basically, decide on the amount you want to spend up to from Sunday until the end of the working day on Friday then pledge it here and off we go! The challenge is about incidental spending and not for stuff that should be budgeted elsewhere such as bills, groceries, debt repayment etc but you decide what to include at the end - this is about changing your habits and improving your recording of your spends more than anything else. Have a great week everyone and keep it low!!! Moozie x

    Hi pap,

Last week I budgeted £40 and came in under, at £32.12 :j:j:j

I am on holiday from work this week and plan to do some things with DD, so will cautiously budget £50

I was fine till Friday night then had an unexpected evening out, think I ended up at about £20.. oops!

I'm going to say £50 for this week, as I've got a friend visiting for a few days so have a couple of meals out etc, I know I'll struggle to keep track with someone else here, but I'll do my best!

Have a good week all x

  • Pap, can u change me to £9 for this week, as thats what is in my purse.... I am trying a new way of doing my weekly spends which I think will stop me over spending.

Hi everyone! Well I've been rurbish (ala Kanye West in the Estelle song!) with this challenge over the last few weeks, but I'm going to try again and so I shall say £14.50 this week (what's in my purse!) and see how I go with that. I've been close but no cigar before, so hopefully I'll manage it this week!
