Congratulations Honey! You are so clever, make sure you give yourself a HUGE pat on the back. I've no idea how things work, so let me know when you find out you've passed and all that stuff!

And enjoy your KFC, you deserve it. Have some extra chips for me :)

    Well done SF

Well I've been up since before 8am studying. It's going ok (or was).
I have just checked my work emails and my snotty boss' boss has emailed me asking why I am "Off work all week".
I work for a firm but I am permanently based at a customers site.
I have asked both my immediate bosses at both at my firm and where I work.
I admit I haven't made my absense official in the sense that I haven't passed it upstairs so I am a bit worried.
I have had it as time in lieu. My firm's boss suggested it. I had noticed I work 8hrs a day but customer is billed for 7.5 (and that's without all the unpaid OT I have done). So I actually am owed 30mins for every day this year (which is well over the 3 days I am having).

However this boss is a nasty piece of work and the top customer boss is too.
I will offer to call the days holiday if pushed and I have got permission off both immediate bosses...but the email has winded me to be honest.
I could do without the worry today...what with the exam in the morning.

I just need to put it out of my mind. Easier said than done.

  • Hi everybody. I've just read thro the threads I missed, I thought I was the only insomniac here, I signed out and went to bed, and when I look thro the threads there was several people up still, could have stayed and chatted instead of tossing and turning in bed! and Lady Mortica, you were up all night poor thing, hope you have had some sleep. It seems really unfair with depression etc to not be able to sleep, when I was ill before (did I say I was ill for 9 years before then well for 5ish, then ill again for a year or two now?), I slept all the time. Now I'm depressed again I can't sleep this time, which is hell as Im sure we all agree. Hohum

As regards panic attacks, I've never had one with an audience before! When I went into town today I was having a panic attack, so I started to go home, but I was like "no, I want to stay in town", so I turned back again and walked a few yards, stopped and looked in a shop window, and did that most of the way to where I wanted to go, by which time I was feeling in control again. I had panic attacks before and they kept me home for a long time, I don't want to go there again!
