I actually just spent longer tying to figure out my current word count as a percentage of my needed word count on my calculator, than I have done on my essay so far. It just kept telling me 95/3, which is not helpful.

However, I am nearly a third done!

pots and pots of it ... no idea whats going to happen really, i have to wait for the lady in charge to come back on tuesday but my options seem very limited.

i cant believe this is happening to me, i wish i could have my life back to how it used to be - i had no idea how good things were. i never thought this would happen to me.

Do you have the will to carry on and get the course finished? Is time off a possibility for you, maybe start afresh in September and use the next few months to look after yourself and to get stronger. I sounds like you have too many things to worry about and not enough energy.

    hi Meyore,

I want to finish it so badly... i feel like this is the battle for me and i am very stubborn. I actually really enjoy it despite being rather rubbish as far as being a psychologist - i love examining human behavior and quirks and stuff.

I feel like im working in my od in terms of energy, i run out ages ago. i could sleep for a week.

I just cant work out what im going to tell people ... no-one knows how things have been and there are still people around who i know. i just feel guiltly and ashamaed that i couldnt do what everyone else could.

How are you? when does OH get back?

Hi Jen, I've been at work all day. Sorry to hear about your bad day (((HUGS))) What do you think you're going to do about uni? Have you got family/friens that you can talk through your options with?

meyore, Hello. I'm OK. Have you had a good day? Awww it's nice that your OH is home this weekend :)

juno, Sorry to hear that things aren't too good. I hope you feel better soon (((HUGS))) What is the title of your essay?

    Hi RBK,

I have no idea how you manage to work ...

I havent a clue to be honest, i just want it to go away. None of my family know, im going to try to talk it through with a friend but she has often be on the opinion that i should just pull myself together. yesterday she said at the rate i was going at i would be the oldest student at uni - thanks thats something else i can worry about.

Jen-don't compare yourself to others, no 2 people are the same, it doesn't make them better or worse than you. The people who really matter would never think any less of you. You seem determined to succeed, so it doesn't matter if you succeed now or next time so long as you look after yourself. :)

    Lecture over... :o

He should be home before midnight, he's driving from Yorkshire to Cornwall  He's back until Tuesday morning, I'm really excited.

Anything planned for the weekend or just work? How come so many of you are in the Surrey area?! When OH moves back there will we all have a meet up?

Jen, What an insensitive thing for your friend to say :( that's not going to help you at all. That reminds me of a colleague at work who said to me one day 'are you ever going to move out of home or just stay there forever' nice. :( Definitely talk through your options with someone before deciding on what to do. Are there specific people at Uni that could advise?

Tbh Jen, without going to work I get even more depressed. It sounds sad but without work I don't have anything else in life.

meyore, I have work tomorrow morning and then I need to get a few things in town. Sunday I am going to visit my Grandad. I don't have anything else planned. What are you and your OH going to do?

Who else lives around the Surrey area?
