Plasma TVs have really come down in price over the last 18 months.

For my money, I will make sure when I get one that it's HDTV ready as that will be the next big thing and if I'm spending that kind of money on something, it has to last a good while(!)

I don't see anything about HDTV Ready on that one and the link for the manual doesn't work :-(

It does not have a HDMI input which is needed for digital TV from Sky next year, and no mention if the DVI input has HDCP. Also no mention if it supports 1080i or 720p resolutions.

These cheap ones from Time, Ebuyer, Aldi etc are pretty much all the same. The resolution is very poor, smaller even than our normal PAL broadcasts. They are in now way HDTV ready.
Its difficult not to be attracted to the price point, and also some people think that because its Plasma, it must be good, but in reality, avoid like the plague
