Very soon now we'll be redeeming our mortgage:j by CHAPS transfer, however we don't receive an acknowledgment of receipt of monies transferred. How do we know if the money has been received by the mortgage company and everything is in order?

i'm sure if you call your mortgage company thay will be able to confirm receipt of monies.
i have never done a CHAPS to anyone except a solicitor, but he acknowledged straight away. the bank should be able to tell you the time it will happen, then just call the mortgage company.
