Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help! My wee boy is desperate for a pair on Bullboys shoes. They seem quite expensive in the shops. Can anyone recommend a good place to buy a pair. I am sure he only want the free football!!!!
Thanks

This is the email I got for NWChevron in Chester and Wrexham stock Bull Boys as do Zapatoes in Southport, also Pip, Squeak and Wilfred in Culcheth in Warrington.
Liverpool stockists were reluctant as they are not Nike, Adidas and Reebok!Man who stands on toilet is high on pot. - Old chinese proverb.0 -
The biggest money saving tip I can recommend is to not spend your money on this gimmick.
I bought my son a pair to get the free football he wanted, and they've fallen apart like his Cica trainers, the biggest waste of money ever, at least the Cica's are cheap.
I did buy him some Geox before and they were brilliant, I think I'll get those when I take these back, they are cheaper and the quality is great!0 -

Welcome to the forum :T
Cica trainers can be taken back to Clarks and they would replace if they fell apart? Did you try that? And Clarks are NOT cheap. I paid £32 for new school shoes for the little one from there last week
And buying a pair of trainers so your son gets a free football? Is that money saving? Why not buy him a football that he is happy with hehe. 'You said it yourself it was the biggest waste of money ever!'
What I am getting at is that this forum is about looking for items that every person is entitled to do at the lowest price possible. It's money saving at the end of the day regardless of the product.

I have not had any problems so far but then they are new. He has had a pair of Geox in the past and were good.
Here is a money saving tip for childrens shoes. There is a new kids shoe on the market called Inchworms. They are really high quality shoes. Best of all they Grow with your kids feet. Each pair moves out 1 full size in two half size increments. They are a bit dearer than normal shoes but it is reflected in the quality and it is effectively at least 2 pairs of shoes in 1. you can see them here www.inchwormshoes.co.uk.0 -
Thanks for your advice, he's had a few pairs of Cica and they've been ok, we've always got money back for them, but the quality is as much as I'd expect for the £30 price... he has Ricosta school shoes which are indestructible!
He wanted the Bullboys because they'd been on the TV and his friend had some, I think you're right though, and I've bought him a pair of Geox now from John Lewis and a football from the sports department - we took back the Bullboys to the shop we got them from - really badly made shoes and overpriced for the marketing, like the Lelli Kelly shoes... some other parents said they'd had similar problems with Bullboys and wouldn't buy them again.
You're right though, money saving is what the forum's for!
I paid £34 for his Geox's last year, and the same for this pair, and they just wear and wear and wear, really good value for money. Now if you can recommend a money saving tip to find cheap Geox I'd be happy :j
The Inchworms look interesting... I'll keep my eye out for them in my local shoe shop.
