    Wow what a day!!!

News on mum ~ CCTV scan was inconclusive but the good news is there is NO cancer in her lungs or bones (and if its in the liver not progressed enough to show as conclusive on the scan either is my logic).
She has to have some intensive blood tests on Monday () and possibly a biopsy on the *nodules*
So, all good but not quite out of the woods yet!!

However, I have had to have a HUGE fight re step dad with social services which I will tell you all about after eating the take away I am about to order and think I thoroughly deserve after my week from hell :p

The fact that the results are inconclusive can only be a good sign surely?
Stay positive and tell your Mum that too
She was quite right to say that to the Doc though:D
    Enjoy your treat;)

Relief slightly up then. I think a bit like you, better to know that if it is it hasn't spread, and you will know more on Monday.

Hope other news is ok re your step dad..And what is the takeaway?:rotfl:

    Thanks guys

    I love you lot :o

Well, we had Indian, sans chapttis , it was bloody yummy though.

    Ok ~ step dad:
Had a stroke 18 months ago

    Is physically and mentally incapacitated

Has carers 4 times a day and then mm looks after him rest of time ~ needs 24/7 care.

Has been left alone for 22 hours+ since mum went in save for the neighbour from heaven

I called social services about respite care.

They went to see him, asked him he said *NO* so they said they cant.

This is from a man who tells you he has had visits from people who have been dead for years ~ he is NOT mentally capable of making the choice.

    I kicked off

    BIG TIME

Result ~ through night care till Monday then respite for at least two weeks.

Mum devasted at thought he will think he will feel abandoned (darent tell her said he's staying if he like it :p)

    Reassured her too

Felt like I actually did something for them today rather than uselss like I felt since last Saturday.

And YES, thats a VERY long story cut short :D
