i'm a bit worried myself about a work situation-
I've had the week off 'sick' (basically, after a REALLY down time lately, I figured it was take the week off or be signed off for a month with stress)
and I dont know if I'll be paid-I am hoping they let me have it as vacation...

You probably wont qualify for company sick due to your length of service.

SSP is COMPULSARY but the first 3 days arent paid and its only £75.40 a week anyway. Your daily rate will depend on how many of the 7 days in a week they use as qualifying days for you.

I would say your best bet is to ask for the holiday ~ they should like a decent enough lot to let you :D
