1) Come home, pick up my cat who is miaowing for attention,
2) Hug cat against chest and stroke,
3) Lose grip on cat, causing cat to reach out a claw to try to grip onto something,
4) Feel cats paw connect with my nose,
5) Feel cats claw extend inside right nostril,
6) Feel cats claw hook onto the inside wall of my nose, (the middle bit that seperates the left and right nostril...the septum??)
7) Panic through initial burst of searing agony, and release cat
8) Realise that cat has embedded its claw firmly into inside of nostril and has no intention of letting go.
9) Flail wildy around room with a massive ginger feline pendulum hanging from nose screaming in agony
...
...
10) Eventually detach cat
11) Eventually persuade wife to stop laughing
12) Eventually stop the bleeding.

 you poor thing! Poor poor thing!
I once cut my septum on a rusty spike when I was climbing through a fence (I was a kid and I was going to get my horse) and I swear I have never known pain like it...0 -

Sorry that made me laugh :rotfl: - cruel though! There is nothing worse than friends and loved ones laughing when you are in pain. It has happened to me twice if that is any consolation!!
1 - mum threw a solid rubber ball for the dog and it bounced, hitting me on the nose causing my nose to bleed everywhere. Mum just laughed (and she was a nurse!)
2 - At a festival the seat of the metal frame deckchair I was sitting on collapsed, I fell through, cut my back on a spring and couldn't get out. Needless to say all my friends p*$$ed themselves laughing and wouldn't help me up.

I must confess I did laugh :rotfl: though as I can totally imagine a cat doing that. As long as they save themselves they don't care who they hurt!LBM 14/12/06 £21,947.17 DEBT FREE 12/04/09
