Hi, I'm already signed up for £10 a day for April, but reading posts on here and in the March thread, a lot of people seem to think it's going to be hard to meet the target in April and I was wondering why? Is it personal reasons or is there something going on in April that I don't know about that is going to make it hard to make money? It's going to be my first time (apart from the little practice run I'm doing now) and don't want to be setting myself impossible targets as will just demotivate me
    Hope someone can help :p

    Hi Pandora,

I have said that i think April is going to be more difficult as i had a Flute to sell on ebay which gave me £195 of my target for last month and dont have anything like this to sell next month.

Also i think quite a few of us are running out of the free bingo sites (links at the start of the March thread) so i know im having to go back to pigs back and i will be scouring the house to find things to list on amazon and ebay.

HTH - Welcome to the challenge

 I can't believe I've never signed up for this challenge before!

I've been trying to earn a little bit extra every day by doing some eBay every day before I do any messing about gossiping on the t'interweb ;):D and I think this challenge might give me extra motivation.

Can you sign me up for £10 a day please and I'll get my @r$e into gear selling all the clothes I've dieted out of and the things my mum has bought for my daughter that she wouldn't wear even if the only other alternative was to go naked, plus all the jeans that my son never wears cos he's a creature of habit and he has his favourites that he wears to death neglecting all the others!

(He says it's not him it's me! evidently it's vastly easier to just pick up a pair that I've left on his bed for him to put away than go to the wardrobe and choose a different pair so he ends up wearing the same two pairs over and over again. :D )

    Anyway....

I'm excited about this. I've gone right off the boil on mystery dining so I'll see if I can do some more of that this month as well.

    WooHoo!

    Love Jacks xxx :D

Stargirl29, great news on the house, hope it goes through smoothly. Thats one of my aims with these challenges, is to earn enough money to one day be able to afford a house. Will stick with trying to accomplish £5 a day first though, thats ambitious enough for me at the mo!

Thanks :D Good luck on the challenge and saving for a house, every little bit really does help :j
  • count me in please. i think i'll start low this month with a £5 (i'm packed ready to move so no ebaying)

i'm saving for moving costs, estate agent (surveys etc) as i don't want to put extras on my mortgage
I have dyslexia, so get used to my spelling and grammar :)

    Hi Puzzled,
    Thanks for replying :p
I noticed a lot of people were saying they were having problems with the bingo sites but only put 2 and 2 together after I'd already posted

Gonna stick to aiming for the full £10 and keep my fingers crossed!!

My plan to make money is
-spend a full hour every day doing surveys and daily clicks, more if I have time
-sell as much as possible on Ebay, Amazon, GreenMetropolis and anywhere else I can think of
-include amounts saved on items I would normally buy (eg buying reduced priced items)

Off to scour the other threads for more ideas now!!

Can someone help with a couple of technical points, please.
Firstly is there a spread sheet anywhere that would help me keep count,(and maybe give me some inspriration), I've reached the age that if I don't do something immediately I forget.
Secondly, how do you enter a signiture with all the figures incorporated, and how do you update.

    Many thanks

Most people find it harder the more months they do. The first month so quite easy as you have plenty to sell and lots of things you haven't done before but each month there are less new offers, things to sell and sign up for etc. This is my 8th month and I have made £10 a day every month bar on when I went for £5 so obviously this month will be hard as I have changed all I can think of, but then thats why its called a challenge and a challenge it will be :rotfl: but I really want a new kitchen , decorate my bedroom:eek:, new carpet for son , new futon for office  redecorate bathroom  holiday :eek:etc etc etc etc so I must try each month at least!!!!
    May 2015 £10 a day currently £208

Can I be added onto the list as well. Maternity pay has dropped to SMP rate now and ends completely in june so trying to put some cash away to cushion the drop in income. Gonna aim for the £10 but will see how it goes.
