ok i think i am going to add my money as i go along even if its not in my paypal or bank account because im keeping a list of how much i can make in 1 day and today including slice the pie and various surveys i have so far made £8.50. I have around 10 books which are going on amazon so hopefully a few of those will sell asap. Im still waiting for an email from writers:share to let me know if my comments have been approved (thats £4 to add if they are!) So my total is now.......£44.13

    taka,
just jumping in to say dont be afraid of trying to sell your jewellery, I started making it as a hobby, sister got married and asked me to make her jewellery, made loads and then plucked up courage to take some to local wedding shops and now 3 of them are selling it for me on sale or return basis. Have made over £1000 in last 6 months as a sideline. Not lookng forward to doing tax return tho! Anyway my point is - dont be scared approach a few shops, nothing ventured etc etc! Good luck to you.

Yeah I would love to but very scared to :o What exactly does sale or return mean - presumably the shop gets its money from this still? What cut do shops take? Is Etsy worth trying or are there similar uk sites? Questions, questions, questions... sorry!! I should just make some things and see shouldn't I :rotfl: I have a decent stash of beads/silver/stones sitting at home unused so I wouldn't need to spend much to give it a try... hmmmmmmmmmm I wonder...

go onnnn taka its great fun! etsy is good and cheap, dont bother with ebay theres just too much competition. go to local craft fairs if you have any nearby. sale or return can work in your favour as anything the shop doesnt sell you get back. nothing to lose and money to gain is what i say :p

Ive never done one of these before so will give at go myself this month before I get stuck in offically in May - I'm going to try £5.00.

Ive heard of writers share but cant find it online? Is it invite only?
Must look at slice o' pie too to go with the 101 surveys I seem to be doing at the mo!

If it seems too good to be true, it probably is, unless its from this forum!
  • Hi there

Loft is all sorted and I got loads of stuff sorted for the car boot sales, enough to do 2!!!. All thats up there now is 1 box full of photos, my sons reports etc etc and the xmas decorations box. Theres some stuff to go to charity and the rest is to sell at the car boot in May :j

I've also signed up to Gala Bingo via Greasypalm. I got cash back of £12.50 for a £5.00 deposit. So £7.50 profit. Lost my £5 but will try the free bingo tomorrow and see if my luck is any better  .

So another £7.50 in my pot. Total today is £69.27. :T
