As I have said many times before all my extra money 9 that doesn't get swallowed up) is going towards my new kitchen which we finally ordered last Sat. Now it is ordered my lovely OH is trying to do as much as he can himself to save £££££. He started yesterday and today has cut through a water pipe so i am now waterless and needing a plumber quick, our insurance has £100 excess so don't know what will be cheapest. feel like we have had a little bit of a rotter of a month and looking forward to it ending. Had some fab news this month but you seem to just remember the panst things and have friends whos parents have died and others who have been taken into hosp so I am very lucky compared to them but still not happy today !!!!May 2015 £10 a day currently £2080

Hiya everyone, I've given up with this month and am just looking for new ideas for the May challenge now. As I've already posted, we are away 8th-22nd May so I am just going for £10/day for the days either side of the holiday that we are in the country for
I just wondered Batgirl, what you mean in your sig by "cleaning" ? I was thinking of doing something similar on my days off- either this or ironing. Is it something you do on the side for a bit extra cash? Hope you don't mind me asking, just wanting a bit of inspiration really to get out there and advertise after the holiday.
Already printed a few flyers off but seems no point now until after holiday. Have got DD at home still in the day, so not sure if I could do any cleaning, but ironing seems like a good idea...
If I can make my target of £160 in May, I am going to pay off DH's Capital 1 card which is at £200 now.

I eventually had some free money in the form of backdated JSA - now they have just paid me £250. It's not really free - I have to look for jobs etc which I do do.:j Thankfully my account is back in the black after dipping into the red:eek:
Have spent the day sorting out stuff, washing stuff and wrapping the same stuff to get ready for the carboot I am doing on Sunday.
Looking at my totals for the month (bearing in mind I have some vouchers to come through as well) I have got £300 - plus £5 Amazon voucher and £10 M&S voucher - £315 altogether.:j0 -
well done everybody that's made the £300, not me....roll on May and good luck everyone (me included)0

Yo - nick of time! have been paid £35 for some work I did which brings my total for April to £166.41 - just over my target of £160 (started half way through the month).
Well done everyone - roll on the May challenge (though I'll be spending before I make anything this month).0
