    Morning everyone

I was laid in bed last night thinking of ways to increase my income when I remembered the stuff I sold on ebay a few weeks ago. I've checked my paypal account this morning and have got just over £16 so have added that to my total :j

Right, off to put my thinking cap on.....
Let's start again (really need a kick up the bum now) :wall:

Just wanted to update a bit as I haven't been posting as frequently this week.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to those of you that celebrated this week

Well done debtbegone - very impressed with your totals (and it's not even the end of the month yet!) :T

I've listed a good chunk of the ebaystuffonthediningroomtable at long last. The auctions will end slightly over the end of April but only just so I will still count it.

Someone was asking about whether to count birthday money.... I think that this challenge has to be flexible as we all "count" different things and add money to our totals at different times, some count savings made as well as money made, so each to their own, I reckon! As long as we keep motivating each other and sharing ideas there will be huge benefits for us all (says she who's barely made £60 this month...!).

Off to list MORE books on Amazon:A

    Advice Please

Do you think I should count money that's mine but I'd forgotten about it, I'll explain - yesterday I was sorting out an old handbag and in it I found, £5.89 in an old medical container that I had used to take small change in when I was in hospital before Christmas and also a plastic bank bag containing £25.31 from February from when I left work and was given a refund on tea money/lotto dues. How do others feel, should I add this to my total or not????

An update - today I found £12.66 on my table - it was change chucked there by my chap when he came to visit. I have just been to the bank to draw some money out for the rest of the month (I need to get some shopping and pay some bills) and when I came home, I found £10 tucked in a different pocket and I know it wasnt there yesterday so my chap must have left it as a surprise:j

He also filled my car with petrol so thats £30 I havent had to spend. I am busy collecting money off vouchers too - there is one in the Saturday express mag for 20p of Schwartz herbs. I love vouchers as I add the money to my challenge pot.

47 more books listed on Amazon :A

Sadly most of them are only on at 1p  Still that works out at at least 50p per sale because Amazon charges so much for postage.

:T Muchos Thanks for the Congrats :T

I'm still really surprised I managed it, but this challenge MADE me list stuff on Amazon, Greenmetropolis and Play and I'd never done that before.

Also the grand national win was thanks to someone here (sorry I can't remember who!) who mentioned the quidco cashback, then I got lucky with my horse!

Aaaannndd, as if the above wasn't enough, because of this challenge I've constantly got stuff listed on ebay and am still hunting through my stuff, being brutal, and getting more stuff ready!

Nothing for me yesterday and just 43p for me today (so far anyway!)

Oodles of work to do, then I'm going to get some stuff on turbolister ready for tomorrow!

I'm trying to book a beach holiday and will get 3% back from Quidco but don't really know where I want to go so haven't found anywhere yet. Any recommendations for somewhere with a bit of entertainment thrown in for a week relaxing on a beach?

Just 20p from Quidco for me today

  • Hi everyone,

comgrats on all your amazing totals! Well I haven't had such a great month but a few more things sold on Ebay so I have updated my signature (now I know how to do that!!!) with my new total - not shocking and still much richer than I would have been without this site. So, Writershare reckeons it will be posting new topics next week. If that happens I will definately make it next month!

Good luck with the final push everyone...
All efforts are focused on paying off my credit card - was £5k Sept 08 - NOW £800! This will definately be gone by end of May 09. Then save save save save save save and a bit more saving!
