I should say that Stowells red (1 bottle + 1 glass) gave me a stinker of a headache. Up till lunchtime today.

I have been in my somerfields the past 3 days in a trot trying to get the flyers to send to ppl but still no joy, can you all look out for them as a few ppl need them sent!

Managed to get a flyer from Somerfields in KINGSWINFORD (West Mids) yesterday (a small supply was stored under the cigarette counter).

Twenty minutes beforehand I had been told by someone in their LOWER GORNAL store that (1) they did not have any of the flyers left (fair enough); (2) the wine was gone, and they would not be having any more in, as the offer was just finishing (offer is valid until 30 August - over a week to go!); (3) the offer had been on a long time already (it started on 17 August - four days previously!).

So don't give up - if one store can't help, maybe another one (where the assistants know what's happening) can.

Went to Asda in Norwich on Saturday and they had every Stowells variety except the ones included in offer. The customer services lady was adamant that she would only match offer on those wines which were shown on Somerfields flyer.

Don't know whether they had removed lines so as to avoid offering price-match or whether I was just unlucky.

Was looking forward to my cheap cases.

Thanx for tha Suzy, do you have a leaflet by you? does it say anything about when it's gone it's gone or limited stock?

The 3 times i've been in Asda doing the price match they have taken out the wine bit on my flyers and stuck it in till!

I had this at one branch, I took up the Montepulciano red made in Italy, it says on Somerfield flyer Italy red/White, i told her to check on Stowells website that they only do one Italian red/white ( www.stowells-wines.com ) which she called on CS i argued my case and got it in the end, but on saying this, when i was in somerfields the red in there is called Italy Red!
