Diane, is yours a new loan?
I was wondering that. Since around 2004/5 when the regulations concerning credit agreements changed, the lenders suddenly became much more careful in making sure that the agreements they issued were enforcible, and that they kept proper copies.

Mine was 2006. Im wondering whether they have lost mine and are just saying they shred them as normal practice, hoping that I will just take their word for it that they legally dont have to have a copy.0

Are you keeping an eye on that thread I linked to Cleosmum?
Curlyben is one of the people over there who I would go an ask for an opinion if that was my CCA.
That is a classic.
While a scanned copy may comply for CCA, if this ever went to court you demand to see the original.
I'm sorry M'lud we shredded it.
I wonder how quickly that would be struck out !?!?!Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
