Can anyone recommend an financial advisor

I have power of attorney for an elderley relative and think I may have to reorganise her finances. I am currently discussing various matters with her solicitor and have another appointment with the solicitor a week on Friday.
I would like to have something concret to talk about when I get there as I think I may have to rearrange her finances.
There is about £850K and I think I will probably best need to speak to someone who knows what they are talking about.
I am a GP so investments etc is not really my bag.
I think I may need a financial advisor and am looking for recommendations.

We can't recommend a specific IFA, all we can suggest is you try www.unbiased.co.uk and pick one from there or that you try your local phone book.I have worked for 5 years as a Pension Administrator and then a further year in a non-administrator pension role. I am not (and never have been) an adviser. Do not take anything I say as advice, it is information given on the best of my knowledge.0
