Keeping it up...how?

Hi,
It is really hard staying on the dfw wagon so to speak.
My top tips are:
-Make lists of things, I have a list for ideas to make money (ie ebay this item, amazon that book, do piggy clicks, look for new no spend things on quidco) but also for things like pay bills, do washing etc
-Have a good nosey round on the net and find local things to do that are free or very cheap so when you need a day out or a bit of a treat you know you can go to one of those places, I have a choice of woods, duck lakes, museums to perk me up.
-Keep an eye out for freebies as in the last 2 months I have had a divine chocolate bar and a pack of 3 creme eggs and theres a thortons egg print off still to come. On this note sign up on a junk email for all the brand websites that have clubs and often you will randomly get free money off coupons through the post. If I can save 2 pounds off my weekly shopping with coupons thats nearly a bottle of wine!
-Learn to have a pampering treat whether its a hot bubble bath or getting your feet rubbed by your OH, treating yourself is essential.
-Look at all the boards on here for news on offers ie I found out about the kellogs bogof zoo tickets from here and I never buy branded cereals so I wouldnt have found out about it. I now have several coupons saved for special days out.
I am sure you will find your own ways of having a normal life on a budget!

Another kick here:p
Hey facingthefuture, it's always harder to budget when the children are off, my 2 eat me out of house & home!!
I've got all that to come because thier holidays start in a weeks time for 2 weeks:eek:
I'm going to have to really plan ahead & find some cheap days out. The only things we have planned so far are AMF bowling - free when you register with them, a friend has registered this time & cinema, kids club £1.50 per child adult free, we are going to see Alvin & the Chipmunks, which I wouldn't take them to for full price, because I'm a mean Mummy
Don't feel bad about treating yourself ...sometimes.
I'm a bit like ebno, I started to really enjoy saving money & working out little ways to save a few pence! time consuming, but got my workings out when the kids were in bed, I know a bit sad :embarasse
Keep at it, you'll be fine:TComping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner
