Magazine comps!

Has anyone ever had a phonecall on their mobile from Marie Claire or Yours magazine? They have both called me thanking me for entering their competition.....Then they go on to say that I haven't won and ask me to subscribe to their magazine. I got all excited thinking I'd won something :rotfl:

I've just had one of those calls too, from Great Comps and Yours magazine, I think. Was understanding and friendly when I said no, and wished my a good evening.

ive had that, get all excited when they say 'you entered a competitions recently', Im thinking great, gettign really excited, then they want me to subscribe:D

I had that, from Marie Claire and Bike/Car magazine, got excited too! they shouldn't excite us like that!

Yes I got a call this afternoon. I must admit I was holding my breath in anticipation. Oh dear what a let down!

Oh I'll be furious if they do that to me :eek: I hate getting emails telling me that I haven't won too - there's really no need for it, why can't they just let me dream on :rolleyes:

I was hoping that I'd won a nice holiday or 10k.... Ah well.... I'll just have to keep at it!
