Vista won't receive Bluetooth but will send

The title says it all really.
I used to be able to send and receive bluetooth files from and to my mobile phone from my laptop no problem. Now for some reason I can only send files from my laptop to my mobiles.
When I try to connect my mobiles to send a file to my laptop it registers and starts to look as though it is going and then says connection failed/dropped.
I have checked my laptop in control panel to make sure that the boxes are ticked in allowing to receive files and disable the firewall so what else is there???

When you are doing this, are you selecting the thing in windows where you click 'receive a file' in the bluetooth control? Update your bluetooth drivers/stack. The Widcomm ones are the best ones I think...0

I had exactly the same problem a while ago.
When you try to send the file to your PC, right click on the bluetooth icon in your system tray and there should be an option to "receive file"
Click on this and hopefully your PC should then receive the file from your mobile0
