Trying to consolidate debts HELP NEEDED!
Hi,
Hoping someone can help as all i can see is things getting worse.
Basically i have a loan with my bank (£5000) along with my overdraft (£2100) and a Credit Card (£800) - (Too much fun wasting money)
At the moment im paying interest on the OD of around £25-£30 a month.
MY payments for my loan are £100 a month and my rent + bills total at around £350
so total outgoings for bills etc is around £500.
Im looking for a loan to pay back all items and squeeze it into one single easy payment, also saving me money as im just paying interest off on my OD.
I have tried getting a loan with my bank but due to my credit rating its not allowing me, ive always been good with my payments in the past, ive also tried another company who are refusing me. My Net pay is £1000 so i can easily afford to pay this back, just need a bank who will offer me a loan at a 'non stupid' rate. I dont want to apply for anymore and ruin my credit score anymore?
If anyone has any ideas, help or advice on this that would be great,
Tom

I would initially have advised trying to get a 0% APR credit card, but not sure you should apply for anything for a couple of months as you have just had 2 refusals.
Are you on the electoral roll at your current address?
Is the address correct with the credit reference agencies?
Just trying to think of why they may have you on a lower credit score than perhaps you should be.After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
Dad Gift 6k ¦ Savings & Inv Tst: £2,500

If you were living within your means you would not have an overdraft or outstanding credit card balance.
Think about that for a second and you may then want to rephrase your posting.
I suspect you are in denial.0
