I tend to wait about a month before pestering (often, letters will say "you should receive your prize within x days" and then I wait x days plus a few). I keep my winnings in a spreadsheet, so at a glance I can tell how many are outstanding. (That's a bit sad, I know!).
latest win: LOTR: Moria - thanks to catz
    - I'm moving to Australia in April - will the competitions be any good there?!:rotfl:

I too normally allow a month to 6 weeks after winning a prize to receiveing it, after that I normally email them and ask politely if there is any news on my win

some prizes I`ve won took a few days the worst one took over two months, I would wait a while as Easter may have delayed the prize, well done anyway.
