Conservatory ceiling blinds

We have a south facing conservatory, which is way too hot in summer, and even this afternoon the light is just too glarey to be comfortable.

So I'm looking for ceiling coverings to both keep out the glare of the light and keep out heat in summer/in heat in winter.

Have any of you recommendations?

I'm happy to make them myself if necessary!

It's a 'lean to' with 5 panels each 4ft wide x about 9-10 ft long

thanks!

  • try material draped side to side, resting over a central pole. stick on velcro to the conservatory sown onto the material.outdoor awnings also work, but in the end we saved and got proper blinds.ours is 5m by 4m with a glass roof and cost £1500
seize today and put as little trust as you can in the morrow.
