hi,
weve had a mortgage offer agreed and in place for the flat that my partner and i are renting, the offer expires on 3rd april.its with birmingham midshires and is perfect for us.90% and the rest in further borrowing from them, our credit is clean but the solicitors dont seem to be doing anything about our deadline,i dont think it will be done in time[ its taken 5 years to get this far because of a short lease and absent landlord.that has all been sorted out now and we are paying for the lease incorporated in to the price ,where our solicitor is saying he cant get in touch with the vendors solicitor to find out about the draft contract and that they are still waiting for fixtures list and the vendor who i have been in touch with over the sale says thats all done, all ive done is constantly ring the broker and solicitor and myself and the vendor talk now and again and am so frustrated with it all.if it expires before its all done.[birmingham midshires wont extend ,theve pulled the product.how hard will it be to get another mortgage due to the credit crunch with the same terms ie no deposit and further lending at the moment or will maybe the lending criteria ease in a few months.its a self cert interest only mortgage which dosent help as being in riskier group.
many thanks.
