Free AA Road Atlas

Call AA for a car or home insurance quote and receive a free AA Road Atlas. (No need to take out insurance policy for the free gift.)
Freephone: 0800 032 1476
Quote ref: 23
Valid until 31st October
*Edit: There have been some problems trying to use this ref number although this is the number printed in the advert.
An alternative offer is: Quote ref: 091 and receive a free mini radio (it is printed with AA logo though!)

Brilliant thanks, just bought a new car as not driving for 10 months after last got stolen!
Just what i need but always better when free!0 -
Just called the Car Insurance number above. It's a wrong number that was placed in an advert by mistake, and they must have had a few calls to it judging by the response. They will offer you a loan while they're on the line though. The Home Insurance number seems OK and gives the option to get a quote for Car Insurance if you want it.0

Thanks for letting me know. I've removed the car insurance telephone number from the original post and left the other number as that seems to be okay.

jo_b,
I got through this time, but I've now been told the reference number given is wrong - it should be three digits. Can you check the original source?0 -

It is definitely just '23'. Source is a leaflet called 'As Recommended Insurance' which was delivered by postman yesterday. (Not specific to me, just hand -delivered.)
*Edit: There is a webpage http://www.asrecommended.com/insurance/JustAAsk/
which has the same ref code, but the free atlas is only available when you get a quote by phone.
The little image on the right is the page shown within the leaflet, although it's so tiny, you can't actually read about the free atlas.0 -
I have just got a quote on that number using Ref: 23 and was told it is just a marketing reference and no atlas is mentioned.Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0

Well, I've got the advert in front of me, stating the free atlas, which is really frustrating.
There is a different offer which worked for me when I was ringing round for quotes last month:
Quote ref: 091 and receive a free mini radio (it is printed with AA logo though!)0 -
Re the free atlas, the site above, reply 6, takes you to
http://www.asrecommended.com/insurance/JustAAsk/#
with an insert about the atlas on the AA site, so maybe it is only via the AA site and not "AsRecommended.com"Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -
I've just sent a message to the AA through their website mentioning the wrong phone number and reference number in the leaflet and on the "asrecommended" website. I've asked for correct numbers. I'll let you know if I get anything.0

I only took a policy with them last week, so I called up and girl not sure at first but then she said she had to email someone to get one sent, so should be on it's way.
THanks OP.0
